Our premier motorcycle service team operates from our independent workshop in the heart of Carrum Downs, Melbourne. Since 1999, when we were known as Mark1 Motorcycles, we’ve proudly served riders from Carrum Downs, Frankston, and nearby suburbs, including Sandhurst, Cranbourne, Seaford, Edithvale, Aspendale, Langwarrin, and the Mornington Peninsula. Previously, we also owned and ran K1 Motorcycles in Hastings. We have now merged the two businesses.

The MK1 Motorcycle Service team is filled with long-standing members of the Motorcycle world, with massive amounts of technical ability between them. In addition to our more mature Motorcycle Mechanics, you will always find an apprentice. At MK1, we believe in keeping the Motorcycle trade alive and passing on our skilled knowledge to the next generation.
Mark has had a lifelong passion for motorbikes and has extensive experience with dirt bikes. Many years ago, he turned his hobby into our business and still leads our dedicated Motorcycle Service team, ensuring top-quality service and customer satisfaction. He can often be found racing his dirt bike as well.
We love having Frank on our team of Senior Motorcycle Mechanics and so do our customers. Frank has been in the industry for 25 years plus and has a vast array of experience on all types of Bike. Frank is an incredible technician and brilliant at Diagnostics. There is a really god reason why Frank has customers that travel from the other side of Melbourne to get their bike serviced.
Brendon, our experienced Motorcycle Service Advisor, has over 20 years in the motorcycle industry. He began his career as a mechanic and now manages our workshop, handles phone inquiries, and keeps operations running smoothly. Committed to customer service and knowledgeable about motorcycles, Brendon provides exceptional support to our clients throughout their motorcycle journey.
Richard comes to us with 25 years of experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic and has been with our Workshop for over 8 of those. Having worked in both the UK and Australia, Richard has extensive expertise in all types of Motorbike. It is difficult to find a Motorcycle Workshop in Melbourne with a technician more experienced and capable than Richard.
Nick is a third year Motorcycle Mechanic Apprentice. Nick has a love of all things Motorbikes. He loves riding his own Bike and is a mad Motorbike Sports fan.
Introducing Luke, our Motorcycle Pickup and Delivery Driver and Technician. Luke ventured into the Motorcycle Service industry in 2023, bringing with him a passion for all things motorbike-related. When he's not ensuring the seamless transfer of motorcycles, Luke can be found riding dirt bikes. With his dedication to his craft and enthusiasm for motorcycles.
Before joining Mark in his Motorcycle Workshop, Kerry spent her previous life in a customer service, sales and marketing background. Kerry offers complete business support to Mark and facilitates efficient organisation, business administration and marketing for MK1.
We recognise that bringing your bike to us can be challenging at times, and you might consider using a mobile motorcycle mechanic. However, we do not provide off-site repair services for several reasons discussed here. Instead, we offer an affordable pickup and delivery service that transports your bike safely to and from our workshop, ensuring your peace of mind. This service makes things more convenient for you while allowing our skilled motorcycle service technicians to work on your bike.
